Nice work
But I prefer a stock look. I don't even upgrade my handles.

Pretty damn pimpin
Very different, but very cool as well.
i like more of a standard looking reel with a belinged up power knob handle, but I am sure there will be plenty of interest in this service.
gimbals and things like gaffs etc. would look awesome customised.
cheers

But how would people know your fishing with the latest Stella/saltiga?
"Nice colours on your reel mate...."
"Thanks, It's the latest Stella"
"...... Sure it is...."
"Here have a cast, can't you tell with all the bearings and hagane and magnet oil and what not in there?"
"........"
"...Its a stradic with a paint job mate"

Wow
Thinking a little two much there Diggedy.
if you care about what the bloke next to you thinks, unfortunately we can't really help with that.
if you're suggesting we're trying to replicate Stella's or any other brand of reel, you're first statement answered the second... We certainly can't & wouldn't replicate anything. We simply dip any reel that we are given, leaving the stickers/tags in place.

I reckon it's alright
Very similar upgrades to those seen in the drifting car scene. Some people just want something a little out of the norm. I am sure we all know what Stella's and saltigas look like, some people just want a different take on a good product

Idea
Maybe another idea would be to hydro paint reels or accessories with company logos and pitch them at businesses. Imagine the Oceanside competition where you win a reel with their logo painted on? Lures in shop colours could be a bit of fun.
I'm guessing you(botti) can print any graphics and transfer them in the hydro way? Or are you limited to certain prints supplied by the process organiser? I think the hydrographic process is excellent but I think you need some designs that make something look better than before you started.

Nice to see something
Nice to see something different mate - saw that reel of Josh's in the flesh and looked the goods.
How tough is the finish?
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Bling
looks pretty cool. Considering the amount of effort that gets put in to custom rod builds I would think that the possibilities would be endless for customising reels to match or to give an old favourite a face lift.

Whilst I can appreciate the effort that goes into it, I reckon it makes the reels look cheap & honestly I'd rather spend $265 on actually going & fishing or on gear to catch fish.
