Hello all not sure if its the correct forum..
Wanted help to identify boat i have purchased
5.5m had a 120 mercruiser
Any ideas on the make or model are much appreciated cheers Trevor

Looks like a Penguin Huntriss (not miss-spelt, they were a Huntriss not a Huntress !) with those reverse chines.
Great hull, I had one with a 307 Chev/OMC sterndrive in it years ago.
Looks like a neat restoration job there !

Think your on the money Saint guy i got it from thought it was a 1986 Penguin the early rego and top super structure had me thinking different also has very narrow gunwhales not enough for cut in rod holders maybe others can shed some more light rides sweet with the pod 135 opty pushes her at 40knot

Used to be called Samantha "if 19 ft".New pod and motor but.
Also just noticed has it got a ali fuel tank in the front anchor well?

Huntriss it is
Sitting on her bum chines perfectly. Hit up Craig Scott for some piccie of his new battle wagon . Same hull but centre console configuaration, full hull extension with a 225 Yammie on the back , was good to see my old hull go to a good home! . On the flip side I’ve still got my Phantom centre console...:)
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....
