Bottom feeders/ human excrement in action again

My local paper has a good report on the following low life bottom feeders, Tang Sang Dang, Lee Ping Sui, Lianxiang Xaio and Lian Jiao Zhang were caught as they left their fishing spot in Christmas eve last year with 101 crabs, 96 of them being undersize not only that but they had a crab gauge with them. They were all fined $1000 + $4800 mandatory fine + court costs of $225.90

Then there were 2 men Alan Glyn and Bluker Sein Cho caught with 39 under size crabs some as small as 92mm both were fined the mandatory fine of $2150 +  $ 225.90 court costs.

And to top out the low life poachers we have 2 men and 2 women taking under size crabs this is the second offence for Hoag Duy Pham, Tu Ngoc Phan, Thai Ba Dao and Thi Thuy Le they were eaach fined $1500 + $225.90 court costs.

Just what does it take to teach/educate these pieces of human excrement to not take excessive and or undersize crabs.

out of all the above persons only one had the guts to front the court.

Words truly fail me to express my feelings towards these things, they are putting my (and your) grandkids  crabbing at risk I believe it is time to start jailing these things and then the message might get through to them not to do it.

Spleen vented !

If they're here on a Visa, cancel it, put them in detention until the Govt can freeze then sell their assests to pay for the detention and a one way ticket home. Word will get around very fast.

Love crabs . Apparently worth the risk . Fines very low for the poor buggers . Hence in some people’s thoughts , worth the risk . Cray fines way higher . So why did pro getting done tons over quota and in ground ( not allowed) fine so low compared to price ??. Huge fine don’t get me wrong but doesn’t equal value of catch . ( can not take into account licence taken of them). Crab fines should be way way higher . I still remember years ago ( many years ago) car getting pulled up with (big ducks) pelicans plucked , and shit loads of undersized crabs .anyway won’t solve on here .

They need to change the penalties. If convicted of a crime that carries a maximum sentence of 12 months or more, a non-citizen can be deported.

Dont get me wrong

They shouldnt be pilfering , though loading prisons and draining our dollars that way is far more costly. I agree non citizens if its a second offence(as the first was a cultural misunderstanding) should be on a plane . Any local caught, chuck em on a plane to Victoria with a collingwood tattoo on their shoulder They will be ridiculed at the airport , on the way out and never to be accepted back. Keep the boarders closed!

 Fines are a joke, seize

Thu, 2020-07-02 06:48

Fines are a joke, seize assets like cars etc. Or a mandatory community service with jail as a back up. These pricks will just plead poverty and pay off the fines over a long time.

i remember as a kid watching the news and a guy who was taking undersize abalone had his boat and car (fj40 from memory) confiscated as they were both used to assist in the crime - i remember it because the news coverage showed him lying infront of the FJ40 as they drove it off and he nearly got run over - haha
i wonder why they dont continue with that ?

Fri, 2020-07-03 23:49

If there was a central website where the people that get caught and fined were listed down, that would help.

also the increasing of fines is a great idea, also selling their car, etc to pay the fines makes sense

there are quite a few people catching undersized crabs along the river shore wading at nights when there is no wind,  but I don't know if any get caught
