Bouvard (Parkridge) Boat Ramp - whats happening??

Hi guys and gals
Can anyone help and inform me about what is going on with the Bouvard ramp. Been closed since the crabs stopped running and last time I looked there was 2 very large black plastic things on the driveway. They look like large inflatable pillows. I have no idea what in hell they are or whats happening.

but at a local artificial lake they had similar thing for months. They were cleaning out the lake, pumping it into the pillows to settle or something and then returned clean water to lake.
Lake much clearer now and pillow all gone, imagine it is something similar.
Wise man says - first take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.

Sounds about right mate
There is pipes running into the water. Perhaps they are dredging it because it has become muddy and shallow over the years. My 5.4 boat is about the maximum size that can get in there. But handy as it is only 500m from my house!!
