Potential landbase broady
You don't see that very often. Might even go line class on 2 or 3kg line.

I've seen them inshore.
Way back in the eighties I saw an apparently healthy free swimmer, small, off the Blueholes at Kalbarri. And we recovered that one off Oyster Reef, still alive when it was washed, but reckon that one was sick.

Reporters don't attend
Reporters don't attend incidents anymore in many cases, just copy and paste rubbish with a catchy headline.
Journalistic integrity barely exists anymore

Ammo Jetty
There was also footage of a swordfish of roughly the same size a few days before this at the ammo jetty.
Feed it a live bait and you'll be eating swordfish steaks in no time.

broadbill
youd have to think it was the same broadbill that was at Coogee ammo jetty , very lost fish considering the depths they are normally found off our coast (300m+)
