Brock's new PB tailor
Headed out at 6 this morn from Hillarys to troll the 3 mile for macks and after a few hours and several lure changes, me young bloke was a bit bored so we had a few drifts in the 20s and got a good feed of whiting and one size flatty (brock's first in the blue stuff) using placcies on patternoter rigs before headin in. We stopped at our little tailor spot on the way in and the water was crystal so out went the usual lure on Brock's rod and sure enough it was hit at the usual spot on the reef. 430mm chopper but the kid wanted another so next troll we hooked up again. Few tense moments coz the slight seabreeze was pushing us back to the reef and me tryin to video with my fone, move the boat when needed and net the fish at the same time, but thankfully made it in the net. I love fishing with my best mate, what a trooper. Sorry bout the language, I ensure you he knows that only grown ups can say words like that lol. Told him after that he had it easy coz it had part of it's tail missing haha

Congrats Brock, that's a cracker Tailor mate.
Love the way the young fella was just staying calm checking out the helicopter while you we're juggling everything Tim-o. Think you were in more of a panic than Brock was, especially after you saw the size of it.
Gotta love fishing with the kids. Top effort from both of you.

gold absolute gold
what a proud dad, that is one of the defining moments of father and son special moments, keep the video safe and in some years down the track when the grand kids come along pull it out and play it, there will be no greater high than what you and your son will experiance then
well done

Again, Id like to stress, he knows not to swear even tho we do, and Im usually pretty good round him, just got a bit excited this time once I saw the size of it. I mean, they get bigger, but for the middle of the day, outside the marina on super light gear and ur own boy, why wouldnt you! He goes alright for a 3 year old, drop punts left and right foot, rocks out like Angus Young with a full size SG, even riding a bike with no training wheels at 2 (no pedals tho, balance bike), kids, they learn quick, just gota teach em and make it fun
