bunbury tiger shark

went to a beach just out off bunbury chasing our first LB mackeral. we kayaked baits out 200-250 which was a big blue mackeral bait on a 4 hook gang of 9/0. with a big pink skirt. waited about an hour got our first run bollon snapped off and i struck hooks in good. past it to mate seems it was his rod. took about half our to bring in... was released afer few quick pics. was a first capsure for my mate he was over the moon.... enjoy

far out great work! i have seen some macks (or fish over 1m long) leaping around between 50-200m off shore last few weekends, good luck with one!!

yeah we were there chasing
yeah we were there chasing macks LB.. but the fight wasnt what i thought it would have been. reel sluggissh only running maybe 30 meters at first then couple of little ten meter rums but yeah big dead weight. but never caught one before so disnt know what to excpect. was a first for me and my mate.

sweet! might see you down there look out for a young guy with a tyrnos 30 bolted to a 6 ft shimano overhead rod but i might change over to a 8ft rod before i go

no worries. i drive blue ford courier with flexiglass canopy or will be in mates 80 series land gruiser all kitted out. Pm if ya wanna plan a trip up there with us we got a deep trench in between two reefs that should produce few more big ones hopefully a mack. gonna chum up next time.
