Bulk fish oil
Submitted by gav1970 on Thu, 2013-08-15 15:25
After making small amounts of burley each time I go fishing I've decided I'd like to make it in bulk and freeze it in plastic milk containers. I've bought myself a huge bag of pollard but I haven't been able to find anywhere that sells fish or tuna oil in bulk (i.e. 20-30lts+). Does anyone know any places selling it in this sort of quantity?
Cheers.

Chicken shops
Head round to any shop that cooks chooks and ask them for the oil, be sure to take your own container. Most are only too glad to get rid of it.

Thanks carnarvonite. Does that work as well as fish oil in attracting fish?

Fish Oil
I get used oil from take away stores and then add fish oil to it - the fish oil gives the scent and the canola or whatever is free - you're only looking to get the scent in the water and create a slick - it works a treat
