Reading the story looks like its been seen before but not with so many crabs. Not good at all, there was a shell fish warning earlyer in the week for leschenault estuary from a algae that I seen elsewhere. That warning was for mussels ect. But not crustaceans from what I read of it, ill put it up if I see it again.
With Christmas fast approaching that is just the thing that is certainly not needed for Bunbury.
A fair few people go down to Bunbury for the holidays and plan to do a bit of crabbing and with this turning up it could put a bit of a blight on the holidays.
Lets hope it is just a short term thing and goes out of the system pretty quickly for the sake of the people going on holiday down there and for the health of the crab bio mass.

That's a bit grim, wonder if it's been seen before or they know what's causing it.
