Wrong end
of winter TBH. Early this year (May/June) beaches along Geo Bay and the jetty were fireing for Mulloway and Snapper.
The further into winter the more weed and crap gets pushed in the worse the LB fishing gets.

Squid can still be got in
Squid can still be got in the murky water, live baits on pencil jigs(yakkas, trumps, herring) a couple of meters under a baloon. Personally, I'll wIt till the water clears a bit and they start attackin jigs. A few skippy out the end, but pretty quiet at the moment.
