Busso stinkys

Quick session this morning on some ground we found last week, bagged out by 8:30 with the two biggest pinks going 20 and 21 pound on the old scale. Good fun on the light gear.

Went out last night and got one small one and lost a good one near the boat. Salck tide and the fish were there on the sounder but no luck.
Maybe we are in too close for the bigger schools?

We were in 20-24m same spot as i posted photos of last week.
But we fished first light this time instead of afternoon. We too lost an cracker of a fish, got done on the reef/ ledge we were on, joys of light gear i suppose

I would say those 20lb'ers you got were crackers, and bigger is just massive.

Dead right hutch
They are certainly some of the biggest we have boated for a while, but i am quietly confident there is bigger on that ground. At work for a week now but will be going again wen i fly hm, hopefully i can post again on here with a bigger model or two haha

We had the same issues last night Choc, plenty on the sounder not much willing to eat. We ended up with a dhu and pink around 650.

We also got four dhuies but only one size.

There's been some bloody good fish pulled off the 4 in the last few months.
Agree with plenty of small dhu's and pinks out there too.

Stinky pinky's like drinking coffee.
ie good coffee dirty water are where the large numbers have been congrigating that we have been getting amongst. It was clear to see on wednesday the colour of the water in the low 20's was filthy almost like international roast colour and cleared up noticebly as you get into the high 20's. That wat we have found anyways haha
