Calamari Classic $20 for JetSki's

All Jetski Fisho's, this is a reminder that the Calamari Classic comp is taking place on 14 Nov 2010. Last year I was the only JetSki but we are much more now so I hope to see you guys at the ramp supporting this day. Will be great if we could all take part.

Best Regards

JR JetSki

Ramps

Fri, 2010-10-29 22:09

At the last one we launched down at the palm beach ramp in rocko and fished the causeway and mussel farms .we decided it would be easier to do the drive down there than set sail from woodies.

Another good ramp that is never really crowded is the kwinana beach jetty one near the grain terminal

Depends which area you want to fish really but we finished sixth down that way and second place was right next to us

Yep, I was the only ski. Did not get any squid either, only cuttle fish and they don't count. I also had to take part under the boat category.  Because JetSki Fishing is fairly new in WA we have not yet established a category fur us. I have spoken to Paul about the entry fees, will see what they come up with.  Would be nice if we had a JetSki category though.

Are jet skis heaviest bag of 10 or 5 ?

If its 5 it will be interesting to see whether its the kayaks or ski,s that get the heaviest,,

Sutton st boat ramp,Naval Base is the most popular jet ski boat ramp in Cockburn sound BTW,,5 minutes drive from Woodys but the Cockburn ramps are fantastic as well,

Never been to this ramp,

Never been to this ramp, will check it out, Thanks for that, We use to go down to Rockingham next to the causeway, the beach area there, but I have seen some rough riders there and nearly got wiped out a few times. Not my favorite spot anymore. On a nice day it gets very busy and there are some guys that drive without RST's and that also don't have an idea on how to handle Ski's. These machines can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing but in the same breath they are very enjoyable, if you fish of them off course.Wink
