Canal Rocks Boat Ramp

Does anybody know any information on whats going to happen with this ramp? . Down there the other week and noticed that it was taped off with red/white danger tape but there were boat trailers in carpark so people are still using it.
I remember that there was a petition and rally to save it but not sure on goverments decision on its future?
It certainly needs some money spent on it after the winter storms .

Yep
Ramp ( both sides) are open , the jetty is closed , expect we will hear from Shire/Government in next couple of weeks regarding new report that should be completed.

finger jetty was never any
finger jetty was never any good , it needed to be at least another 30 metres longer imo ,way better back in the day before they built the new ramp and stuffed it up imo
best idea is to put a rock wall in local granite out and around the northwestern side of the ramp off the existing rocks there to take the swell impact of the ramp base

Spot on
Spot on hezzy. Ok for the small tinnys and skis but the bigger vessels become dodgy when there is some surge. You'll get it on the trailer eventually but the damage bill to follow is the ?

Never an issue with an 18
Never an issue with an 18 footer, would be more than happy to use it with the boat we have now too. You just need to have your shit together, know your limitations and be aware of the swell and conditions.
