Canning Bridge

waa down at canning bridge yesterday. i started using soft lastics and had a few hits and one hookup butno fish. some guy then gave me a packet of prawns and i hooked up and landed a 26cm black bream. it was a tad too small for my likings so it went back. a nice 33cm tailor was landeD. THAT WAS ALL THE ACTION we had. if you walk over the bridge half way you can se flashes in the water and its always heaps of black bream big and small but theywont bite

Yeah you get that mate. I went there a couple weeks ago and all I manage was Tailor after Tailor but no Bream. But then again I was using a small Halco Laser Pro and River2Sea Baby Vibe which the Tailor has made it all mangled now.

Cheers lads,

Did the same RUSS, but being ancient, it was a lot more than 20 years ago. We used to dig for blood worms too, climb the fence and fish sitting on the (water?) pipe that runs along the side of the bridge. With the right current run and other conditions, we would get a decent feed of tailor.

There was some entertaining moments too - more than one young fisho, getting excited, over-leaned and pulmited into the water below! Tongue out

Thank goodness I never did it (come close a couple of times!) and no on fell of as a boat was coming through.
