Cape Range Tinny Fishing

Hi Guys,
I am heading up to Exxy next week and will have the tinny in tow. I have fished out of Tantabiddi a few times in the bigger boat but was looking to do a bit more fishing inside the reef within the national park this time around.
Does anybody have preference on best places within the park to launch? I've been in there a few times for some landbased fun but haven't really taken any notice of beach launch sites.
Cheers!

Is it light enough to carry to the beach
We used to launch our savage snipe from half moon bay (as it was then called) which is from memory the second car park south of the lighthouse, small beach in the shape of a half moon with reef left and right and a gap in the centre ....as long as the swell is small it is a great area, through the gap and then head NW ....do not head SW as it occasionally breaks on some shallow bommies and can catch you unawares ......sit on the back of the wave heading in and quickly turn the boat to face the waves when you get to the beach. Great fishing with floating or lightly weighted mulles
