when i went there i spoke to a local and he told me that when you go onto the beach head noth anf about 50m there will be a sign in the dunes fish around that i got plenty of herring few small sharks and tailor make sure you berly up because there will be every man and there dog on that stretch of beach.

another spot is a bit further up called hill river this is good for tailor herring and the occasional Mulla i caught plenty of stingrays here as well pesky things! lol

both these spots are 4x4 only if you dont have one then the jetty out the front of the town holds herring and squid and if you let a live herring down around the jetty they get the odd smbo swimming around. this place will be packed with all the kids fishing.

if you head south on the beach there is a point about 2-3km down that place has produced a few nice tailor for me in the past.
