Changing hooks

Hi Everyone,with the Salmon season around the corner,thoughts go to tackle pre.Having used Halco Twistys and Richter plugs last year,i would like to remove the trebles and put single hooksbacke to back .Any suggestions on what size and brand to use

1. Gamakatsu fly hooks -

2. Decoy plugging singles
3. Decoy jigging singles with inline eye - opened up my decoy couple weeks ago when i put it at the tail point of the jig and caught a baby amberjack......there goes my confidence on these hooks.
4. Owner Jigging singles. More like a J - hook with in-line hook eye.

But the eye should lie parallel with the shaft. I hope you get what I mean. Not the standard hook eye in other words. The lure swims better that way.
Some techno fishing nut on here will tell us the right terminology for that hook, but I think Uluabuster has it right as the fly hook.
