www.amazon.com/Suffix-832-Braid-Neon-yards/dp/B004HGOKY0/ref=sr_1_3 $32 50lb 300m
$70 At bcf .
I'm not saying it's the cheapest price on the internet but its much better than retail stores. Amazon is a solid trusted website btw.

Internet will nearly always
Internet will nearly always be cheaper than retail, they have no overheads like rent and wages. Don't be a tight arse, support your local.

I would be more surprised if
I would be more surprised if there was something that wasn't roughly twice the price in Australia...the fishing market here isn't that small, the AUD is stong, and yet things still cost twice as much as they do in the USA (even Australian manufactured goods like Halco lures are more expensive here than overseas!) Line prices especially are silly here...I paid nearly $80 for 300yds of generic/shop brand braid at a local shop...in the US I can walk into almost any brick and mortar shop and get a spool of brand-name braided line for half the price.

Australia is the 2nd most
Australia is the 2nd most expensive country to live in after Japan. Its due to a combination of high AUD, Isolation, Small population and wealth.
For example a cop in the usa makes around 35k/annum and a cop here makes idono.. 55k/annum. So it's still relative.

I wouldn't get out of bed for less than 150K ! They get abused beaten spat at god knows whatever else. Dealing with the scum of society, F--k it i've talked myself out of that low paying shit job i'd rather be a car park attendant with a real future.
