i got pulled over by a copper sitting in the entrance to the ammo dump jetty this morning..he went over my boat trailer thoroughly and he got me for one park light not working.he didnt care about the car just the trailer..he also dropped the hint that he will be patrolling that road all week to check boat trailers coming out of woddy's..just a heads up..

How about he patrols the Woodys car park and catches some thieving scum, instead of targeting law abiding boat fishos. Maybe be has to fill a quota .......

Totaly agree big john, It seems a lot easier to write a ticket for a small infringement than to, catch , arrest, charge, prosescute and sentence a real criminal.
Only my oppinion but i feel fisheries and marine&harbors do the same thing. I have been checked for skippers , RBFL licence and my boat checked for safety gear almost every time i use my boat. ( usualy the same guy's checking me ). Only once this year they actualy checked my catch.
