Few gummy sharks and ALOT of rays at night off the beach. Some guys got some pinkies off the rocks further east, easy to fish from in the right conditions of course. There are tracks leading everywhere, have a look on google earth, its your friend when fishing new places.

South Coast rock fishing is a
South Coast rock fishing is a dangerous sport. Have lost a previous employer of rocks near (west) of Albany. Don't fish alone always have a spotter.
Can get some good size skippy, gropher(blue), pretty much the same kind of fish all the way from Cape Naturalist through to the Bight.
Have had good catches of Silver Bream, Salmon, Big Bull Herring seen some big sharks along that coast line.
Enjoy ya trip. Some good spots around that area. Normans beach, Betty's beach most places will have tracks along top of cliff edges. Good 4wd country.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Whiting
Got heaps of kg whiting there a few weeks ago. Lots of guys were getting herring and skippy from the beaches and rocks. Word had it there were a few sambos about too, some of the rocks were very safe, others not so, as others said, just be careful.
