Yes it is still on until end of the month. You'll be free to fish for them in Warnbro and Cockburn Sound 1st Feb onwards.

 dhuie ground in the sound?

dhuie ground in the sound? it's only a ban on for cockburn and warnbro sounds so if you're out from point peron you should be right.

The closed area wraps around

The closed area wraps around the coast, joining wanbro and cockburn. You can download the maps on the fisheries website.

Just remember...

...if you are in possession of a snapper from outside the sound, you cannot come into the sound and fish. You can pass through (like on the way back to the ramp), but as long as you have a snapper on board you can't stop and fish.

BE AWARE

you need a demersal licence , need to have release weight , if you catch 1 dhui 1 snapper & 1 parrot fish your over the limit , even if you just catch 3 parrot fish your over , hefty fines will apply

what you mean by demersal licence mate??? The only thing you need is a RFBL. Or Parrotfish
