colin the humpback whale

http://www.abc.net.au/worldtoday/content/2008/s2341568.htm

imagine 44 gallon drums with big nipples on it to feed it, looks like poor colin might not be in a good way, but he certainly loves the yacht hes cuddling up too

Hey! Don't forget the other 7.5 inches (keep it clean boys! Wink) - at my height every vertical inch is vital LOL

Obviously the lil guy thinks the hull is the underside of his mum - how sad :(

Fri, 2008-08-22 13:09

CryGone to whale heaven, put down this morning, dragged kicking behind boat to die on beach, how sad, don't think he was ready to die, struggled all the way, big outcry, not a fan of CALM, like the kangaroo being dragged behind ute.

why

Fri, 2008-08-22 22:35

wondering why couldnt they do an ariel search for a pod of humpy,s and move the little fellow, i mean its only 5metres, we,ve flown elephants before, bit of a shame really when we r so against whaling, would of been a great example of australia doing something massive to save, and show just how important whales are...

Roberta - bless you love for crying! {{{warm hug}}}. Without wishing to invade in a private moment, that is the photo that should have been sent to those in Japan that insist on this (not at all) 'scientific' research!

Whilst in Japan, there is (thankfully) growing discontent, there is still a very long way to go with the 'political ethos'!
