It was great to see them actually play out till the end and not just give up..
A much better effort than that rabble down at Subi !
Hopefully they will also learn that by kicking the ball 60 mtrs from the backline and a good tap by Sandi, they can get the ball to the end and score rather quickly !

Only thing Freo is good for
Is that it is close to the sea and you can fish.
A few wins and the supporters go nuts. Better fishing if you think West Coast. Larger area to fish, and Freo is to small. E shed does not do it for me and neither does the moles. West Coast includes so may more options.
Sorry but who cares. 3 hrs infront of the idiot box instead of trying to get out there and having a fish is not my idea of fun. I do check the score, but would rather watck I Fish etc.
Watching Footy is never going to turn me into a football player. Getting out there and catching a fish, or watching something fishing related, or reading, well maybe one day I will be a Fishing Natanue (or however you spell his name).

Typical babble from over-excited Freo die-hard. Let's see how the season proper pans out. I take nothing away from NAB cup games. Shit! Last week was so hot. There was more action off the interchange than there was in the Eagles forward line.
My tip for this season is that the Eagles will go close to playing in a final this year and Freo will capitulate again and most likely finish 3-4 games out of the eight at best.
Mind you, I am not bias in any way. Just slightly more respectful than the Freo supporters.

Bad Losers
Was in the main bar in the Potshot hotel in Exmouth when the dockers had their first derby win.The bar was packed with lots of cheering when the eagles got a goal yet with 15 minutes to go there was only 7 people still there.3 dockers supporters and the four bar staff who couldn't run away.
Funny thing how that sticks in ones mind from so long ago,and I don't barrack for either side,I didn't change side when the eagles came about,I stayed with COLLINGWOOD,the team EVERYBODY loves to hate.
