Commodore 670

Hey Guys - The Boat Show has got me fired up to get into a new boat for this summer. Considering I had 2 boats last summer this may become the norm.
I had a glance at a 22' Commodore today. I have been really happy with the hull performance of my Chivers so I am nervous about going to something that doesn't perform well. I am really chasing more deck room for divers. Does anyone have anything to say about these hulls? I have it in my head that Commodores have a bit of a loyal following among their users. If you want to PM that is cool too.
Thanks
Matt

PM mako magic and allrounder for more info as they both have one.

They are crap they are messy at rest they are slow and they dont have much room and when you get out of the water then there is no need to use the freshwater shower to rinse of .nnnnnnoooooott .I love mine we need to make a few minor upgrades just more personal stuff than needed. If you want any info get a pm off to me or maybe mako between us i think we could cover most questions.Mako will be doing the comp next year and while he is doing that i will have mine on a 10 day expedition from exxy to barrow is and everything in between the only reason i wont be taking the allrounder will be if we have the 8 meter but that is unlikely for a couple of more years.

My anchor winch packed it in

One of the best things about
One of the best things about them is that, if you forget to pack your drinks for a day, you can drink the shower water.

I did see that I would
I did see that I would absolutely need a winch. Access looks near on impossible to the anchor.
How much fuel do they hold. I am struggling to get a clear answer on this. I need to be able to cover at least 60nm, and this one has a Mercury 140hp 2 stroke. Thinking it will chew through a bit more fuel than the old stern drive.

They come with a 180ltr
plastic tank or an optional 240 lt ali tank.If you put your head in the bilge and look toward the bow you can tell straight away.If it has the plastic tank and the motor uses over 2 ltr a nm then i would look at another motor. We both have 225 hondas and i know three guys with 200 to 225 4strokes the only one i know with a 150 honda gets good fuel econ but not much top end.you could also play with cupping and prop size but for what we do the 140 would struggle.
