Complementing this forum

Complementing this forum for being real and not controlled by one minded forum attitude

As I follow some fishing forums just too see what’s happening ,one doesn’t realize how good this forum is compared to others around the country.

One example which I was watching in a well known bream forum today any thing out of the ordinary gets slammed and shut down within an hour.

When some of the questions aren’t rude or insulting.

I was always under the impression that forums was a public talk of interest.

Must hand it to Adam and others on here willing to flex with different topics and discussions.

Not an easy job, I'll tell ya that. For example, Theres a lot of unhappy people with one forum member who has done his best to change his posting attitude and has a wealth of information that a lot of us may not agree with, but is valid and deserving of being read.

I've had that plenty of full on experiences of running the site over the years, legal threats etc etc, but its the, I won't post pics any more attitude that really gets to me. Thats letting the guys that want to stuff it up, win. (I'm not pointing that at anyone specific, but the guys that just lurk and don't post anything about their fishing experiences)

I'll do whatever I can to protect the members on this site, but I can't clean out people's comments just because they don't agree with your own. As for the politics, its only that we've seen a heap of the topics lately and they've been full on, sure once theres some more fishing pics and stories go up it won't be a problem for it to come back to the fore again.

As for today's comment removal, if someone's going to bag out someone's pic when its totally legal, then it will go and probably their membership if it continues more than once. Thats one thing I won't tolerate on this site.

Cheers for the positive input Ramma.

I really like most of the comments, except for a few but I don't get involved, I think the photos will pour in soon, as everybody is also getting ready for Xmas/New Year, next year watch out, won't know which new image to look at first.

I am a long time guest of this site, and this is my first post as a member, but I too would like to add my congratulations to Adam and to the many regular posters for what I find is both an informative and very entertaining site.  It has local (WA) relevance and is frankly the only fishing site I now bother to frequent. Keep up the good work, and when I have something I think I can usefully add, I will.

 Cheers, Peter

(I am a Perth based, experienced fisho, but now have 2 daughters (3 & 5 yrs) that occupy the time I once allocated to fishing. They both love being out on the boat though, so I am looking forward to getting back into a lifestyle/sport that I love, and if their initial interest is any indication, they will love it as much as I do! )
