When i go up to coral bay im going to be doing a lot of fishing, im going for the first time and im wandering if you can buy bait and tackle up there, and also what rigs should I use for beach fishing up there?

yep general store sells bait and tackle. Go for the old trusty paternoster rigs if fishing with bait...try 3/0 hooks. Fishing isnt that good off the beach at CB but try Mauds....could do worse than sitting back on a beaut arvo soaking a bait having a beer.

make sure you know the zones up there.
i went up fishing and was told that i couldnt fish within 5kms off CB.
just check with locals first to find out sanctuary zones
