coral bay, monkey Mia, kalbarri

Hey guys.... After a very successful family slash fishing holiday in kalbarri this april we have decided to make it an annual thing.... probably the best fishing I've done, many thanks to you guys on this site.
The family will be staying in Kalbarri from April 13th to the 23rd 2015... will be a total of 20 people including kids, bring on the road trip!
My wife and I are thinking of legging it up to coral bay with our two kids 10 days earlyer, possibly staying in coral bay for 6 days then heading down to monkey Mia for a few days before meeting up with the rest of the family in kalbarri...
my question is has anyone been up around coral bay early April? What was the weather like? I know the rain was quite bad in exmouth this year....

April is the best time of
April is the best time of year weather wise in coral bay. but ofcourse it's what you like. if you are boat fishing April is the time to go....the wind generally drops off that time of year but still nice and warm for the family to swim snorkel etc.
book soon though most ppl know April is best (whale sharks, turtle hatchings etc) and as such is the busiest time of year.

cheers D_d_001... ill be booking asap then, as for fishing I probably wont get the boat out until kalbarri as missis hates the boat... so will probably be a lot of reading books on the beach for the missis and ill be trying to teach my 3yo son and 4yo daughter how to snorkel.... cant wait!

The kids will love coral bay
The kids will love coral bay at that time of the year! Would definitely recommend going on the "coral breeze" catamaran tour - a very family-friendly snorkeling tour inside the reef! It was my wife's fav tour that we did recently in exmouth/coral bay...weather can be hit and miss, but six days should give you plenty of opportunities

I will defantly keep that tour in mind thanks jus... well shark bay and kalbarri has now been booked, just waiting for tuesday to come around so I can contact bayview caravan park, their booking office seems to be in perth...
