Not sure but the chick that works at Mahi Mahi charters monitors the radio comms for all boats in the area so might be worth giving her a call. If anyone knows she will. Shes awesome.
I'm in Coral Bay now with family but heading back up with some fishing mates in about 4 weeks time and want to get more organised with logging in/out. I visited the dive shop and the bloke said they don't have anything to do with it and pointed me in the direction of the Mahi Mahi charter office (ajacent to the general store). They have all the saftey info & sign on sheets and they regiister your details for your stay. All logging on/off done through CH16.

Yes Coral bay has VMR "Manned " by the dive charter shop
fill in a form when you get there so they have your details boat Phone#s etc.

Remember VMR closes at 16:45
Remember VMR closes at 16:45 so make sure you log-off by then. so no more VHF monitoring after then.
they answer calls to their mobile phone number after hours though.
