Cotrol Box Problem

Hi Everyone
I have a 1986 johnson 120 hp that runs beautifully but im having problems sitting on 14 to 15 knots its either to fast or to slow i can not find a happy medium is there anyone that can tell me what the problem is

I'm no expert but nearly everyboat I've had a dead spot like that. I always thought it was due to the minimum planing speed of the hull??

Try trimming the engine with
Try trimming the engine with the tilt as to get it to plane propperly.
Or alter the weight up front or change props.

Pullin skirts? Mine is the
Pullin skirts? Mine is the same, 15ft tinny just trim and slight throttle inputs to keep it right when riding swells etc
