A couple of swan crabs

I took the old man out for a crab in the swan tonight in the bathtub. We did pretty well landing 16 crabs from 8 nets in 5 pulls between 6:30-9:45pm around mosmans/the coombe. Good feed planned for tomorrow!

Good size and clean crabs
What depth of water were you fishing in, hope you don't mind me asking, I haven't crabbed in the swan for a long time and just trying to work out how much rope I should have on my nets.

I think they must have just moulted as some of the shells are still firming up but they are full of meat.

All my pots are rigged about 28mts atm. If I need to shorten them I put in a loop with a cable tie. Also 2 weeks ago the crabs were going in daylight, stopped on sundown. Tonight they were going well up until we called it quits. I hope to do a morning run before aus day to see if its more successful...
