Crab ID

Would anyone have a fairdinkum POSITIVE ID on this Crab please? Just worried whether I should report it as some sort of invasive species of Asian Paddle Crab I found

You certainly should
I can't give you a positive ID but I think you certainly should report it to fisheries, anything caught that you have doubt about what it is IMO should be reported. You have an excellent pic of the crab email it to them.

Looks more like our native four lobed swimming
crab as theres no spines between the eyes and doesn't have 6 spines either side of the eyes

Yeah.. looks like...
This is different to the "Four Lobe", I have 2 specimens. Waiting for fisheries research to get back to me with an ID or hopefully the rights to name it
