crappy weather for bluewater comp

Well woke up today and wow, what crappy weather and the big bluewater comp is on, i know a few of the guys from here were entering it so if it goes ahead i hope its a safe trip for all concerned and i hope theres a few that do good and win a few prizes as well.

Didn't fancy testing out the back in the predicted conditions. Looks like it might be better out wide than inshore at the moment though.
Good luck to those that braved the conditions.
The MAAC will always be reluctant to cancel these things as they stand to make a shipload over the bar if it goes ahead. (Thats not a critisism, just an observation of the pressures they would be under to make it happen)
If I was the commodore, I would probably say it was fair conditions out there based on the forcast this morning and definately fishable..... just not comfortable for us old buggers.Wink
