Crayfish help

Hey guys,
dropping cray pots in for the first time this weekend and I was just wondering what kind if ground, depth I should be looking for at the moment as I'm still a virgin to this. I will be fishing the mandurah waters. Any help will be great.

Houghy if your going out from
Houghy if your going out from Mandurah go out from the Cut not townside to many theives up that way when you go out from the Cut line up the phone tower with the northern edge of the dawesville watertank , head out 1.5 - 2k lots of good ground on that line find sand next to some of the lumps out there in anywhere between 12 -18m of water set your pots there , I used to do very well in that area , but nowdays most crayfishing done out of Greenhead , goodluck

Nothing around
Been out diving for them the last couple days and have only bought home a few! Nothing around in 10-18m at the moment. We found a few in 30m but most had eggs or the tar spot. Shouldnt be to much longer before they march!

Reports and predictions are
Reports and predictions are that crays will walk 4/5th December as per usual. Ill be having my pots on the sand after this blow, probably put towards 30m mark
