Cricket fans - has anyone seen better than Mitchell Johnson recently

Wow. Mans on fire since moving to WA. 4 Man of Match's in last 6 tests. Can anyone stop the Moh from dominating other than injury?

Been a long time since warnie and McGrath that I'm actually looking forward to watch someone bowl. Been only watching half of the test matches until recently.

Only negative to this is not having cricket matches lasting the full five days:)

I think that there might be some in WA

that got his wayward control under control. He always was quick, now he is quick and accurate. Something has been corrected. Some off those balls he bowled at AMLA etc was damn frightening.

Let us give thanks to the great DK Lillie....I don't think anyone has been this hostile and intimidating since Curtley Ambrose and that guy was one mean mutha...

Good to see genuine pace bowling back in the picture.

 still recon Glen McGrath,

Mon, 2014-02-17 19:07

still recon Glen McGrath, the constant line and length plus some good lip in my opion the bests fast bowler i've ever seen but i'm only 25, johnson is good but Mcgrath never had the teathing period that johnson got McrGath was constant but also had the greatest leg spin bowler ever coming  from the other end i'd love to hear a few more responces from some older boys that had the plessure of seeing lillee, geoff tomo, lee, ambrose, aktar,aa donald right now he is bloody intimidating but how does he shape up to the past.

Mcgrath best bowler, but great to see johnno firing, just hope he can keep up with consistency.  Love the cricket as well, been an awesome summer.

Honestly

Mon, 2014-02-17 19:32

not surprised by Johnno ripping through the saffas after what he did to the English/SA 2nd XI.

More surprised by our ability to bat against the so called ' best bowling group in world cricket'.

If we can continue to make 300+ in the first innings I reckon we'll go 3-0.

 Yeah some good coaching goes

Mon, 2014-02-17 19:32

Yeah some good coaching goes a long way, no more spraying the ball. Man he's got some pace. Good to see Lehman has swept out all the crap and has a good team firing now.

Yup think you gotta put most of it down to Dazza, what a turn around since he got appointed.

The opposition are scared, havn't seen this since Abrose terrified some of our batsman to be honest.  Probably the best most intimidating bowling i've seen, but i never saw tommo or lillee

mj just needs to put in some sand shoe crushers , belter yorkers and a few full strength full tosses and I am going to say he is the best pace bowler we have had since Bruce Reid

fantastic form

Mon, 2014-02-17 20:54

its once again exciting to watch some genuinely scarey pace attack. maybe we will see some saffas on the Trott too!!

im not sure who has been helping him but he must have workied hard in the year off.

some credit should surely go to craig mcdermott as oz bowling coach.

pretty sure he joined warriors in 08/09.

and love some speculation re next oz capt......smith?
