Dates for Gamex 2008

Next years Gamex is scheduled for 8th - 15th March .
After fishing Exmouth for the last few years and managing to hook a few Marlin , I have decided to fish Gamex and was wondering what to expect.
Can anyone give me the gist of what happens. Do competitors help out newbies like me or are you left to figure things out for yourself. I want to target billfish and was hoping to learn more from others. Does everyone gather at the Pot Shot at the end of each day?

Yeh I go every year Paul, Gamex 08 is no exception!
Everyone catches up at the Pot Shot/gauntry area to spin a yarn, drink plenty of piss and oversize their estimates of how big the billfish really was hehehe
As for help, feel free to pop in if your down this way, I'm more than happy to run through it all!

I live in the northern suburbs but will probably take the drive to have a chat and top up with gear for the trip.
