Day 1 crays

Shot out for an arvo dive NOR. Pretty average conditions with heaps of surge. Heaps of jumbos about but the surge made it difficult to get in good position. Monkeys off the back and runs on the board with a nice cuttlefish to top the arvo

Good start
First fresh crays for the season always taste good.
What depth were you in?
I noticed the pro's had a few pots in the 42m mark on monday. Im assuming you were not that deep as bottom time would be to short.
Helped a mate get a few pots out yesterday and took advantage of the new rules by putting a Merv float on his line. Started in 14m and will see how that goes.
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !
