Have just booked holiday at Dongara over xmas/new year and will be staying at the Dongara Tourist park. Have never fished this area so looking for some advice. Will be taking my 5.7m quinnie and also beach fishing. Any advice on where to fish and what is around that tme of year would be much apprecited. May also be looking for a deckie as will be going out on my own (family not that keen on boat fishing), so if anyone else will be up there happy to have on board.

The marina is a good place to start for landbased fishing
You can normally get out of the wind and there have been some big mulloway and tailor caught on the northern wall.
The inside of the marina is also worth a crack at night.
Just to the north of Dongara you have S-bend, Lucies etc, which are some of the better landbased spots in the mid-West.
