Hey cobbs im originally from Mingenew (30mins away)
My parents still live in Port Denison, ive fished there for 40+ years.
Best advice I can give is don't drive to far or go out to wide this time of year.
If you head out main passage take a left, back of reef (head south) go down a few kms plenty of good looking ground all under 18m (wouldn't go any deeper) If you anchor and burly up you should get good results. Mainly dhuies but also caught plenty of baldies trout etc. If its a bit rough have also caught some quality pinkies.
Other guys have mentioned turtle dove which is a great fishing spot but bit of a drive (72km offshore)I tend to only go out there with another boat.
good luck tight lines
Hey Cobbs your bait choice sounds good. I tend to use more jigs and soft plastics these days, Dhuis love them. Ive had most success on big white plastics like 10 to 12 inch Macarthys .
The depths at nobbie head sounds right, also really good out from freshwater. You can launch from beach if your boats not to big. Good luck look forward to some photos ???

never seen anyone pull in
never seen anyone pull in good pelagics there. any wind from the south makes it pretty puss! wind fron east is good!
If your keen head to turtledove, bait or lures wont last long out there!
