Drifting the 3 mile drop-off at 2 Rocks
Submitted by piston broke on Mon, 2011-02-21 21:24
Had a recent session moving North along the 3 mile in 100m increments and stopping and drifting the back edge drop-off as we went. The shark flesh tasted great that day , but was crap 2 days later. Obviously its one to eat fresh. cheers Pete

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

looks like you had a decent day out there.as far as eating shark goes, it is nice fresh but if you freeze it for a few days and then thaw it out , it tastes good as well. but yeah as you said if you have it a couple of days later it isnt quite as good so what you doint eat straight away throw it in the freezer

Freeze
As Russ says, freeze the shark fillets for a few days before you eat them, makes one heck of a difference.
