Dunsborough over Xmas/New Year
Submitted by Iceman on Mon, 2014-12-08 14:05
Heading to Dunsborough over Xmas/New Year and just wondering what is being caught at the moment. Will be Land Based. Any Salmon around considering schools are still showing up in Metro area?
Have 4WD so options open as to where I can go.

G'day Iceman
Xmas New Years in Dunsborough is busy! , At Present the West Coast is producing good sized Tailor in the mornings or evenings when the swell is fishable , there are resident Salmon around , Bunker Bay is a good place to start . Xmas time is also generally good for a whiting feed , fish light and avoid the jetski's..Herring are usually a year round catch , bit of burley and they generally will come . If the swell is down a 4wd trip to Hamlin on the northern end is a good place for Tailor , Mulloway , sharks and Salmon . Call in and make yourself known and we will give you any up to date info.

Thanks
Thanks for the info. I had planned to call in but just wanted a heads up so I can decide which lures/tackle etc to bring down.
No plans to fish Busselton Jetty (too busy that time of year) just wanting to enjoy the serenity and maybe catch a few fish.
