finance minister interrupts fishing ;) demersal ban blues
Submitted by Deleted on Sun, 2014-12-07 21:23
so to keep the peace i passed on fishing this weekend to build the young bloke a sand pit. i no its got sweet FA to do with fishing but iam releasing my built up DEMERSAL BAN tension . started of being a simple pile of sand and ended up being a limestone fortress.
easy part although there is 20 x 20kg blocks in there and 20kg bags of sand
easy so far
should have gone fishing
all worth it in the end

Toys
Just looking at the toys your young lad has got to play with makes me think you might be a FIFO miner.

Quality time
Well done gillyL, great job, your son will appreciate the time and effort you have put in for him, hope you both enjoy the fishing when the ban ends, again well done, the look on his face when you finnaly finished would have made all the effort worth while.
Cheers

Looks good, but ........
U need a cover on it to keep the fn cats out of it. I built one for my kids when living in Spore and didn't put a cover on until I found all the neighbours cats shitting in it. NOT NICE at al!! Also built a platform with cubby on it above that had ladders, slide, rope swing, fireman's pole and a flying fox leaving from it. Mind u my 2 kids were slightly older than your toddler. It kept all the neighbours kids entertained as well as the parents when pissed who wanted to try out the flying fox. When we were about to leave, dismantled it and moved it down the road to a friends place for them to carry on enjoying it.

Nice tidy job there. Sand
Nice tidy job there. Sand pits are great kid entertainers. Mine are over theirs, which meant shovelling out six cubes worth of leaf filled, cat shit infested white sand...now slowly turning into a monstrous vegie patch.

Don't worry about the cover
Don't worry about the cover Gilly. The dog will do the trick. No cats have ever been in ours.
