I never caught to much there but if you want a fire buy some wood in town and if you can dont stop at the first camp site there is another 3or4 down the track but with a bit rain you may need a 4x4
Never got out there yet but apparently there are lots of camping spots and redfin around Lane Pool Reserve...if you want to fish for redfin you better go this weekend like you are planning before there is any more rain and the rivers rise making redfin alot harder to find.
R4L is spot on, most of the camping spots along Lane poole reserve are situated on the big slow moving pools, and there the spots you'll find the reddies. The water might be a bit muddy this time of year, so maybe worth using bigger Hardbodies with inbuilt rattles. Be prepared to find alot of runt fish too.
