Early RDO Sweet Meat Run
Submitted by Jackfrost80 on Wed, 2020-11-11 16:50
Sweet run out at 30 knots and found another boat in my whiting patch so tried to work around them at a respectable distance. At one stage I was stationery on the water and gave soft placcies a go today and they work very well.
Thanks to Sea Rescue for the 11am reminder and it was a surreal place to spend a minute silence floating on a mill pond.

Made these with Gama baitkeeper hooks. Usually I'll tie a twisted dropper loop for the hooks if I have time and CBF

No need for a jig head so
No need for a jig head so just a 2' gulp sandworm on a 'baitkeeper' long shank hook mate, the ones with a couple of small barbs on the shaft of the hook. I didn't put any scent on it but will give that a crack next time as well.
