Easter weekend

Well after an extended run of struggling to catch anything more than scalies, the Easter long weekend has been kind to me. Good Friday saw me land a pinky from the rocks, and today I got the tub out and managed a ripper table size bronzy and some nice blackass. Some fine table fish for the break. How has everyone else fared?

Shocker
i went up to gero to see a mate & had a shocker....drive up friday & traffic was terrible on the Indian Ocean Road, some people just shouldnt be on the road. Friday arvo fished off the beach, no bites & lost 2 rigs. Sat rvo we went off the rocks again no bites. Sun did an early run and the 1st spot sweel was a liittle big to fish, hit the greno river mouth, lost two rigs & destroyed a reel & got no bites on a 2nd setup. we moved to another spot and i only got one bite & hooked a small shark around 3-4 feet, took 20 minutes to pull it in and my line snapped just as my mate bent down to gaff it....re-rigged and got no further bites. no of us got any fish
