For over 9 years now shop owner Ryan Thipthorp has specialized in Deep Drop fishing. Ryan's favourite reel has been the Daiwa Megatwin 750 (2 speed) and has served him well all this time.
He prefers the 750 over say a 1000 size purely as its more compact and easier to hold when fighting fish manually. The reel holds plenty of line and to quote Ryan "I've never seen the bottom of the spool even in 500m plus"
So when the New Daiwa Seaborg 800MJ Megatwin (2 Speed) reel was released it was a no brainer to buy this New model for himself and for the shop also.
Whilst Ryan's never had any issues with the old model 750 the New Daiwa Seaborg 800MJ Megatwin (2 Speed) reel has even more features including a upgraded drag system and a upgraded larger motor etc

At Oceanside Tackle and Marine we like to see customers getting a good deal but more importantly the right advice. Country customer Bruno lives in Katanning and wanted a good deep drop combo as this is his first go at it.
Bruno purchased the New Daiwa Seaborg Megatwin 800MJ electric reel matched to our New Custom Deep Drop rod. He wanted the outfit spooled up and all the gear to go with it like rigs, sinkers, deep drop jigs, deep drop lights etc etc.
