epirb prices

howdy all

 i have a birthday next monday, the wife and kids are going to get me an epirb finaly, just wnted to know where i could get the best priced one from, with so much diversity of people on these forums someone must know where to get the best deal from. either from site sponsers or from any boating outlet that you freq visit or know. i live in warnbro but can travel to get a good deal.

You can get a standard GME

You can get a standard GME one from whitworths for $300. Theres another for $250. Have come down a fair bit since they were mandatory. Just a pity the GPS ones havent seemed to come down as much (they used to only be $150 or so more than a standard). Just make sure if you are getting a cheap one its not too cheap. A few bucks isnt worth your life.
