Exmouth fishng friends

Hello,

I am staying in Exmouth for a month fishing looking for people to go fishing with.

HAPPY TO SHARE COSTS or share hiring a boat.
Would like to fish outside the reef and inside or the beach sometimes

As Tank mentioned, go and have a chat to the tackle stores.

Steve and Rusty at Exmouth Fishing and tackle will get you sorted.

Tell them I sent you in for some advice. Steve's a good bloke and loves a chat.

Good luck.

Dave

Yep, helped me out no worries so far. A chat with any local fisho will yeild good info. Gota do the miles to get the smiles in exxy iv learnt this week and bait seems to be the go over artificials in close or landbased (iv had little success on lures and placcies, with limited trying). Headed down to wapet creek today for a look, plenty of jacks being caught, livies are the go, took another track down to the bay of rest before sunset and it is real fishy down there, muddies on low tide and fish caught in pools apparently, I was there at highish tide (not a big tide this arvo), will pay visits down these spots if the wind dont play the game this week

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

it always pays to get a tide

it always pays to get a tide chart from any of the tackle shops to start with. Bundegi boat ramp is a good start if you look for bait schools of hardy heads,Live bait is always a good start, you will need a cast net (and a license ,you can get from post office). Then try off Hunters point (just past lighthouse) GTs, Queenies, Spanglies, if the planets are all aligned in your favour of course.

Good Luck.

Have caught a few small ones of the beach and meeting a few people.
Hopefully will be getting out in a few boats next week on.
