Exmouth land based

Hi all,
I am headed to Onslow for work in January, and on my way I want to stop in at exmouth to do a bit of fishing.
Just wondering if there are any good land based spots to catch some using reasonably light gear.
I have heard of people walking out on flats and having some good fun with trevally and queenfish.
Any help is appreciated :)
Cheers

Yep chrome twistys and plastics are your friend. Hunters, jansz and other west coast spots are worth a try as well as the oyster stacks around from Mildura wreck. I know people go for GT's etc there so a bigger fish is a chance even on smaller lures. wading out near the wreck late arvo with bait for spangos is commonly done. Last one was the section opposite light house caravan park. I've only done the above once or twice but had some success (except with big fish at the stacks). Enjoy exploring and nabbing a fish or 2. I'm sure there's more experienced people on here with more advice but thought I'd throw some out there in case no one else takes your lure ;)
