Hi im going to exmouth in may taking my 5mt tinny up just wondering what the winds like around then.

dont bother! may can be very hit and miss. i had my 5m tinny up this year was there for 2 weeks and had to fish in some rough weather worst being a 25knot easterly trolling for billfish. raised/landed fish but weather was shit. april is a much better month

mate, been heading to CB /
mate, been heading to CB / Exxy every year for the last 10-12 years during April / May. Traditionally this time was always the flattest. The last 2 years have been a bit blowy heading into May and had 2 big storms 2 years in a row. But that said, we had some magic days as well.
Exxy a bit more flexible as you can fish the gulf if its blowing on sure on the West side. Plenty of options that time of year

Would think May would
Would think May would normally be the best weather you can have. If I had to pick a month to fish between Perth and Broome, April or May would be the choice..

Cheers for the advice last time I went was april 2007 we had great weather for the whole trip 1 day of rain but still fished it
