Exxy Roads report please - Going there for Xmas

Hi Exxy's or others. Driving on Thursday to Exxy with Boat in tow with the 200S Landcruiser. Just wondering what the roads are like especiailly the Exxy Rd dips and Burkett Rd.
Any news would be appreciated.

did the burket rd yesterday
did the burket rd yesterday just before lunch .was a bit of water flowing but nothing to worry about...will be back there for xmas ..if youve got kids take them to see the turtles laying .i did it the other night with my 2 boys ,12and 9 they had a fat time .just watch out for the roos ,,we counted 49 between the light house and town on the way back ..was a few big boys amongst them to.sat on about 60 kms so was abit of a wait till i cracked me fist beer..

16 son and 16yo stepson. But I am sure even I will enjoy the turtles.

exmouth conditions
haven't really had that much rain here Neels. Most went south of us. The dips out along the road to the airport were fine this morning, and from what I've heard the Burkett rd had a bit of water on it late yesterday but not much.

Realy appreciate the local help rather than 1313131313 etc. Never gives you the local "flow".

Always sem to me that the 1M odd population around the big smoke all know each other but us bushies should be better mates and go from there. Going to miss you this year mate, down in Perth buying a new 4by and won't be back up until the 3rd. :( Next time I'm up in Ktown I will definitely catch up for a coldie. Hope you have a good time in town and the fish are kind to you!

will only be there for 5 days then back to tom vagas.got a mate coming down from ktown as well,mad fisherman .. hopefully will be hitting dunes a fair bit .ive just introduced my boys to surfing and there loving it so a bit of beach fishing and a few waves will be on the cards.
bought 2 minni mals recently[12 months] and have dusted off the old 6,8' .got a few waves last week but the big thrill was watching the boys hit it.wwont be concentrating on the fishing to much .more a family bash [rack up browny points for march] but will have a bit of a crack with me mate probably paddle a few baits out for him around the surf break and hit the marina for a jack at night maybee .hardest part is staying of the frothies so one of can drive to the marina.

Saved up this year after last years "crap" from the holiday Park. Went there and whoever was in our place absolutely wrecked the place. Smelt of beer, old milk and vomit. They had no other rooms there and wouldnt give us our money back, so stayed at the Novotel trying to find some other spot to rest a tired body.
There was none so this year we took the plunge and saved, staying in one of the Beacfront Villas at the resort. $$$ but what the heck.
